Nom De Guerre Coated Duffle Bag

November 13th, 2009

Nom De Guerre, whose designs I usually admire, has released this disappointingly plain duffle bag. Not only does it look boring, it also seems weak and unfunctional (read: add more pockets).

If you’ve read my previous post about The North Face Purple Label, you already know my gripe with their backpacks. But I can’t deny their charm and it seems like people really like them. The newest collection of their products is available at nanamica. There’s a range of interesting materials used, the oddest being fleece. [...]

C.P. Company Tinto Terra Duffle

October 31st, 2009

I’m loving this Tinto Terra Duffle bag by C.P. Company. Perfect shade of brown, garment dyed leather.

Check out this Honeyee feature entitled Bag in the Days, a photo article that showcases bags by Nike, United Bamboo, Foundation Addict, APC, Rock Steady, nonnative, and Head Porter. None of the bags really stand out to me, especially when they’re overshadowed by a hot Japanese model. Apparently her name is Iruka. I’m gonna go [...]

Neil Barret S/S 10 Duffle Bags

October 20th, 2009

Here’s a preview of next season’s duffle bags from Neil Barret. I think these look great; I especially love that they’re asymmetrical. There aren’t many details about the bags except that they’re made of canvas and leather. Looking forward to these… via Selectism

TUMI Digi-Camo Alpha Collection

September 22nd, 2009

I know I recently hated on the camo pattern, but this one isn’t too gaudy, right? I thought I’d post about it because TUMI is a good brand and I’m sure there are people who would like this collection. This collection includes a carry on luggage, duffle bag, small messenger bag, and laptop sleeve. It’s [...]

Head Porter F/W 09 Lookbook

September 21st, 2009

Head Porter released a short lookbook in the most recent issue of Smart Magazine. There isn’t any specific info on the various bags, but the patterns and materials look great. I feel that it’s really important to see how a bag looks in context, so I like that the bag collection is presented as if [...]

Krane Spring/Summer 2010 Preview

September 18th, 2009

Take a look at Krane’s upcoming bags for spring/summer 2010 at their website. The collection includes duffles, shoulder bags, a backpack, laptop case, and more. Each bag is available in black, olive, or tan waxed cotton or, my personal favorite, black leather. The piece that really stands out for me is the Fletcher duffle, pictured [...]

Filson F/W 09 Bags

September 11th, 2009

Filson is a brand that’s been around for over a century, so you know their bags are always high quality. Luckily for us, their products don’t look the least bit dated. Their newest collection consists of a tote, duffle, and a few messenger bags. Hopefully the plaid appeals to more than just the lumberjack set. [...]
