Mismo presented their latest collection at last weekend’s (capsule) show in New York and will be showing it again this weekend at (capsule) Paris. The bags feature a Mismo-exclusive full grain leather, which exude quality. The laptop briefcase is easily the most exciting bag from the collection.

Ever since grade school, I’ve thought of Jansport bags as reliable but ugly. But their recent offerings (especially their collaboration with HUF) have started to change that last sentiment. Jansport’s Urban Framework collection takes the brand back to their outdoor roots while giving the bags an urban look. Oddly enough, the pictures I’m showing you (which are from Hypebeast), feature a beautiful charcoal/brown/brass colorway that isn’t on the official website. And the two colorways that they decided to show on their website happen to be terrible. Marketing flaws aside, I like the direction that Jansport is going with their products and I’m excited to see what else they have in store.

Among APC’s recently revealed accessories collection are three bags: one small duffle and two shoulder bags. The styling is clean and simple, as expected from the brand. They should be available at APC stores and stockists soon.

The reason this weekender is called a kit, and the reason I found it blog-worthy, is because it comes with a handy toiletry bag. I always travel with a small bathroom-stuff-bag inside my duffle, so I thought it was perfect that 3sixteen decided to include one. It even comes with some soaps and whatnot that they produced with Dickson Hairshop.

Lanvin’s latest collection of bags for the upcoming Spring/Summer season is a mix of classically simple and runway loud. I’m not feeling those zig zags but I’m loving the white/brown colorway. Not much info yet, but as with anything Lanvin, you can expect luxury and dollar signs to go with it.

A brand like Filson needs no introduction, all of their bags generally have similar qualities: simplicity, durability, quality. This bag in particular is made of 22 oz. cotton coated with paraffin to make it waterproof. But what makes this Filson stand out from the others I’ve seen recently is the amount of compartments. Open pockets, zipper pockets, pockets inside pockets… and a key clip! So many ways to organize and stash my junk.

When I think of paper bags, I think of the more fragile choice of bag at the market. But SIWA ensures that these paper bags can hold cargo up to 10 kg/22 lbs, even when wet. It’s an interesting concept, especially because the bags will show wear throughout its life. The collection includes a holdall and various totes; I’m not a fan of the totes though, because they just look like grocery bags.

Transformers, Beast Wars, Mystique… I’ve always been into shapeshifters. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard about Hard Graft’s new transformable 3Fold bag. The 3Fold can function as three different bags: Laptop, Portfolio, and Overnighter. Not only is the bag extremely functional, it also looks amazing. I love the juxtaposition of grey and brown leathers. Each bag is handmade and individually numbered by a family of leather artisans in Tuscany.
