Michael Williams of A Continuous Lean has finally announced that his shop and brand, ACL & Co., will go live on November 23rd (or if you’re in NY on the 20-22nd, you can go to the Pop Up Flea). He  hasn’t given much info about the product except for this teaser image. The fabrics and zippers look really nice, I can’t wait to find out what kind of bags they are (crossing my fingers for laptop bags). This is all so exciting because I love to see blogs turn into something real and tangible that’s not a book.

The guys at The Scout just started a new video series and their first subject is Chris and Kirk Bray, the leathercraft duo behind Billykirk. The video offers an intimate look into their studio, as well as some insight into the inspiration and history of the brand. I can’t say much else about the content without summarizing, but I must comment on how amazing the video itself is. The lighting, the cinematography, the music, it’s all perfect. Props to the guys whose names appear at the end of the video.
